Nathaniel Gant walked down the road remembering his previous life. His 6'2" height and muscular build filled out his jeans and tshirt for an impressive effect and he enjoyed a few women checking him out as he had walked through town. he knew he wasn't model attractive in the face, but he took pride in his body. He ran a hand thought his military short hair, the heat of the sun felt good on his skin after spending eight years in prison. Freedom. Wow, it felt good. Eight years for being the driver in a bank heist had been a heavy sentence, but now that was behind him and he was going home to his parents and sister. He wondered what they had been doing while he had been locked up. He hadn't exactly had many visits, his family almost entirely writing him off as no good, or his dad for sure. He thought maybe his mum and sister might be more forgiving, but he guessed he would soon see.
The street looked exactly the same as the last time he'd lived here. Well appointed houses, gardens and middle class cars on driveways. It was a quiet area where nothing interesting happened. Boring he supposed would be another word to describe it. As his house came into view he stopped and considered the welcome he was about to receive. Well, fuck them, if they didn't want him here he could find somewhere else to stay. He walked up to the front door and rapped hard on the wood. Standing glancing both waya up and down the street Nathaniel sighed feeling hungry and tired.
