As a writer, it is an interesting concept in that I think it could be very freeing, and yet, also very limiting.

Freeing, because there does not need to be a huge amount of build-up as to why someone would sexually please another person if they were in Free-Use situation. But limiting as a writer too though, because tension is what we use to drive a story plot along. With the situation being free-use, a lot of that tension... a lot of what makes an interesting story interesting... is also lost.

As for real life? It is just downright terrifying because it sets up a market for human trafficking!

I did start writing a story that I never finished along these lines though. It starts out with a husband and wife hiking, then in a very scenic, very secluded spot having sex. As they are finishing up in afterglow, a helicopter approaches, the wife sees the logo on the side of the helicopter and gets terrified, and starts to run as six commando type people get out of the helicopter and start chasing them. Eventually she is caught, drugged and taken aboard a yacht.

The next morning she is summonsed to meet the wealthy owner, stops mid-way across and strips completely naked despite others being in the room. It is then discovered that she used to be a corporate whore... a lady that worked for a company and to placate high end clients to ensure they got contracts, had ladies in the company wine, dine and sexually please these clients. This she did, but got done, fell in love, and got married. This man however was infatuated with her, and ten years later, finds her so she continues doing what he loves... having an exhibitionist around him that enjoys being naked almost anywhere and everywhere at his beck and call.

I intended the story to continue as she fights the feeling of being free-use for a man, and realizing her vows as a married woman should keep her from doing that. The whole time, her husband is struggling to figure out who took her, why, and ways to save her. Her best friend, who worked for the same company, and was also a company whore, tells her husband what his wife used to do and who the man is with the unique logo on the helicopter... In the end, the wife ends up staying with the rich man loving that free-use lifestyle, while the husband ends up with her best friend,,, who hated it, and wanted nothing more than a monogamous marriage.

All valid points. Usually in porn it's done within the home or office. As for the tension, I'm planning a regular bringing a newbie along. Free use does seem to be a fad, and a lot of it home or work oriented. I agree that the premise removes a lot of tension and speculation from plot lines, but then a lot of porn is devoid of those things entirely anyway. Free use seems to be mostly about the fantasy of fucking anyone you take a liking to whenever you like, or fucking someone, usually a family member or work colleague, in front of people you know. And as you all say above, free use suggests everyone understands and no one is shocked. If free use has anywhere to go it needs to be much more creative and more tense, so not everyone is in on the rules, say, or the fucking takes place in ever crazier places and with ever crazier partners eg live during a news bulletin, say, or during a wedding ceremony. One I watched involved a guy fucking his sister who was substituted for the turkey at Thanksgiving so he essentially fucked her on the dining table during the meal in front of the family who continued eating and chatting throughout. I have a love/hate relationship with reverse thinking, so along these lines I started a story that was kind of the reverse of a Fluffer Girl.

In my story, a Free-Use kind of story, there is a hostess at an swinger party where she sexily dressed, and bound and bent over the sign-in reception desk. For guys that are worried they will get off too quick, they use to kind of "take the edge off" before meandering their way inside for other sexual conquests, with other women. Actually, I'm working on a fantasy series that incorporates free use. The idea is that this fantasy race in a separate dimension found a way to open a gate between worlds.

Long story short they found out that a human female cannot get pregnant from a male of the fantasy race and a human male cannot get a female of this fantasy race pregnant.

Humans are brought into this world and used as various types of sex workers/slaves with the prospect of one day buying their freedom and passage home. They are then up for any member of this race to use sexually or in any other way they desire. For a fee of course.

"Free use" or something like it is the stock-in-trade of many "future/alternative society" set-ups that people have suggested over the years. Personally, I'm not much into predictive fiction but I can appreciate that a society might operate along different conventional lines from our own. There are enough examples after all in our own world of this by way of primitive... and not-so-primitive tribes.

Take away the morality precepts imposed (mostly) by received religion and its (mostly) self-appointed police, and the sky's the limit regarding what could be regarded as the "norm". I can certainly see the fun in playing with that.

So I thought up some ideas:

1. Got this from a doujin but an adult theme park where in addition to attractions where you have specific fetishes catered to, you also have staff and some guests who wander the park and are free use. That is a very valid point, and I think a writer could focus on that internal conflict for a compelling read.

Another way that might be done, is with another character that has either been Free-Used, or is being Free-Used along with the main character, but maybe does not embrace, setting up this contrast or contradiction. That would allow readers to see all view-points of Free-Use, but might also add some tension. I mean, when a friend legitimately asks, "How can you do that"? It makes you question what you are doing. Maybe not enough to stop, but enough to ask some tough questions of yourself.
