This may not be the appropriate forum for such a question, but you guys seem to be an inteligent and well educated group, so perhaps someone will know the answer.
What is the upside to the whole global economy thing?
Connecticut, where I used to live, has turned into a ghost town and economic wasteland due to the wholesale migration of industry to cheaper labor markets. The company I work for in California just bought 700 acres in Mexico.
Republican and Democrat politicians keep telling me that this is a great and wonderful thing, but nobody seems to be able to tell me exactly where the advantages are in this for the average guy.
Anybody know?
