I'm not even sure what you are trying to say. Do you mean that you did show something to a volunteer editor and that person told you to get someone else to write it? In any case, don't "delete" it - I assume you mean from your own files. It seems like you do have some kind of text that you wrote. Another writer would have to see what's in it.
