It's also spam at Literotica, which isn't here to advertise for those not contributing to Literotica's story file (or lying that they have). Literotica is generous enough to let those who actually do contribute stories to the web site to advertise their published works (although in a different part of this forum--and which states that posting is for Literotica authors only). There's no reason why they should advertise for noncontributing competitors (including those who have lied about having stories posted here.)

Something put on Amazon for free can jolly well be put on Literotica for free if you want to peddle your published works here.

I come up with things that I put in the forums by listening to the news, reading news articles, and oh my gosh I remember them. Remember when Best Buy was cutting back on stores? There was in the article about it a mention of it being because Amazon is making millions selling electronics.

Just because this person has no stories under the name they posted under does not mean they have no stories here. They may not want their paid stuff tied to their free stuff.

Or maybe it is spam through and through, point is, a certain judgmental asshole never looks at anything but his initial thought.

Personally this sort of "spam" does not bother me. Its an author who found an erotica site and thinks maybe they can get some reviews and help with their book.

I mean the nerve coming to an "authors hangout" and expecting any support

Lit does not want advertisements like this here then find and delete them. Sadly if its not on the GB the owner is not going to see it.

But it does give little people like Pilot a chance to bully people and throw his perceived weight around.

She sent me an email after reading my FF Halloween story. I think that was appropriate. It's a good story, and I will write a review on Amazon, but only because she contacted me by email.

Which should show they are a little more than a common spammer.

This stuff gets "oh, get rid of this," but malware infested posts by a certain poster just go by the wayside no matter how often they are reported. In fact in general the report this post feature is as big of a joke as most features here.

Grand scheme of things threads like this are harmless. If nothing else you can get a free book out of it and let's face it, lit readers are all about free so who cares?
