No.
As far as I know, it was more probably Cliff Richard, although there were those who'd suggest a couple of others.

After the nuclear war, it's been said the only things left to rebuild civilization will be dandelions, cockroaches, and Keith Richards.

They say go big or go home, but sometimes I prefer "go placidly amidst the haste and noise."

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story."

Wise words, even today.

Somewhere in one of my boxes of stuff, I have a black light poster of Desiderata that I've carted around for more than forty years.

It's amazing the wildly different things you hang on to forever. But that's where memories come from too. :)

I had a black light poster of it too, mine was/is only 22 years old. :D Not sure where it is but I don't remember getting rid of it.

There's been a great deal of discussion about what constitutes "useful" in this house.

I blame my obsessive pack-ratting on my late mother. There are times I think she saved everything I ever brought home from school. Every report card from kindergarten through five years of college, elementary school workbooks, more than twenty scrapbooks, and things like my first tooth, first stuffed animal, and first booties and sippy cup. Someday I'll decide to toss a bunch of it.
