A good question, Mags.
I think I have the 'age' but I'm not sure about the "wisdom".
But I can think of one recent joiner (& stuff), who gives the appearance of being about six (once might be amusing, all the time is not nice, IMO).

I thought Librarians knew everything.

They were deities to me growing up in a small town, that's for sure, and the library was the temple. Also, I learned from Adam Ant what they were really like.

No offence intended, Mags. I think the definition of 'tart' is slightly different on our side of the pond. Top tart, posh totty, top Doris, are all terms of admiration - well, in London, anyway.
