Good question, Michael. But I suspect that an unripe greengage is still green. Could be wrong of course.

Their colour may vary from green-ish to a sort of yellow-ish and there is one which apparently is a sort of blue-ish.

In an alternate universe, Johnny Carson is begging God to let him come back to earth so he can take over the Tonight Show again just so he can take advantage of all the great one-liners Trump (and the rest of the clown show) are handing him on a silver platter.

If nothing else, the 2016 election is a gold mine for the comedians. Not sure that's a good thing, but it's the hand we've been dealt.
