I called my Dad today.

I suspect my late Father has been doing a cloud trip for my late Mum.
I like the idea of them charging about like Ken's folks. They were very keen on
using the Caravan; went all over the place.

Mom and Dad had already managed to visit 48 of the 50 states when he got sick. We tried to talk Mom into letting him take the motorhome across the CanAm highway to Alaska and then catch a cruise to Hawaii so they could make it a clean sweep, but she was scared about what she'd do if he got worse while traveling that far from home and his doctors.

I told her: "Mom! You guys live in rural Ohio next to West Virginia. Trust me! Juneau, Alaska and Honolulu have MUCH better hospitals and cancer specialists than anything within two hours driving time of you now."

Although I did watch Shutter Island (Martin Scorsese's 2010 psychological thriller starring Di Caprio and Ben Kingsley) last night. Well let me say I watched it from the beginning last night; the night before I caught the last twenty minutes. Then the storyline made sense.
Perhaps it will be rerun again tonight.
