I never owned a 240 - but I did own two 300ZXs. The second one was the twin turbo version. Boy, did that car have long legs.

I really wanted a 300ZX, but this flashy hussy with the name MBZ 450SL Roadster convinced me if I was going to take on a mistress, I might as well get an expensive one. (never buy a classic Benz unless you enjoy spending money. )

Memorial Day of 1974, I got to watch Arfons take it airborne at 300 MPH at Dragway 42 in Ohio and set a record for barrel rolls. I'm still amazed how he walked away from the wreckage.
