Only a hundred bucks an hour

I actually spent a night once in a highly questionable trucker motel at the far south end of the Cleveland burbs. When I discovered there was no deadbolt lock or security chain on the door, I went back up to the office and asked about it.

The night clerk (who looked like something that would have checked you in at the Bates Motel  ) looked up from his chair and mumbled: "Yeah. The girls prefer it that way in case they need to get away from a psycho John quick or bail during a raid."

Just one of the joys of living on the road for a living.

One of the [generally] nice things about the 'tinternet is the ability to find stuff that I missed as a kid.

We had stuff like this:- http://britishcomics.com/Tiger/index.htm

To me the really nice thing is the ability to relive some childhood memories that have seriously faded near nothingness, but suddenly become very full and clear again with a simple click.

IE: Sky King was barely a memory until I discovered a bunch of the original episodes at YouTube. Suddenly it's Saturday morning and I am five years old again anytime I choose to be.
