Der Rosenkavalier
Rotenburg an de Wumme.
Bother! I took Piglet and three other piglet-tailed piglets to the beach and missed my favourite opera. My friend took me to see it in Covent Garden once, and he treated me to dinner at the opera house. They do meals with the courses served in the intervals. They start you off with champagne. It was utterly delightful! even before we got to see two women rolling around in bed together while an audience of the poshest didn't even raise an eyebrow, ROFLOL!
Hmmm, I have no association with Rotenburg, so I'll just go with
Stow-on-the-Wold
Stow it, sister!
Ah, but where should I stow 'it'?
I heard this spoof programme once, about a philosopher who was trying to identify 'it'. When he heard people say: "It's a nice day, isn't it," he would rush up and say: "Ahah! so that is what 'it' is!" They pretended he was French, of course, born in the Dordogne. (I'll just say that again for animal lovers: Dordogngngnnne.)

Wherever seems best to you, sweetie.
But be sure to us "it" before its expiration date.![]()

If I get the chance, I sure will!
Inspiration.
Perspiration (the good kind, for the best reason...)
Oh well, I glow, of course. If occasion demands it.![]()
You know, I think I've taken a shine to you.![]()

Is that what you call it? It looks a sort of matte texture to me. Ummm...love to lick...
Can anyone please bother to point out WTF is happening here? What do people post in this thread?
What association does the previous post bring to (your) mind? For me, lick led to postage stamps (not that I have licked one in a very long time).
postage stamps
D'oh, okay!
Stamp collector, hard at work (no pun).
philatelist (not to be confused with fellator)
Sitting on a desk, all alone.
Stationery! (not to be confused with stationary).
I love stationery. With computers, there's no need for lots of different kinds of pens and pencils and a collection of different rubbers - some of which don't work very well to rub out the pencil marks. But I have them anyway.
I keep my pens and pencils in an old soap box. (Roget & Gallet - currently their Amande Persane perfume.)
Quill and paper - the victorian era style.
I wonder what it was like to write with a quill.
More difficult than you might think. It's a whole new technique.
So, you've written with one?
I heard spills and splashes are very common.
