Guiness beer

After an international brewery conference, some of the directors decided to go out for drinks.

The bartender asked the CEO of Miller what he wanted, and he ordered a Miller, of course. The CEO of Budweiser, naturally, ordered a Bud, and the Direktor of Lowenbrau ordered a Lowenbrau.

The head of the Guiness brewery, though, ordered a glass of water.

"Why didn't you order a Guiness?" the other directors asked.

"Well," he responded, "since you guys weren't having beer, I thought I shouldn't either."

A well known Australian beer, famous in the state of Queensland, is XXXX (Fourex). Asked why the label didn't have the name Fourex on it, a South Australian suggested it was because Queenslanders (spoken slowly) - couldn't - spell - or - read - B-E-E-R!
