Freckles was woken up by the earthquake this morning.

It was pretty hard to sleep through, although my first thought was "Cats!"

There's another thread running around somewhere here with more details.

Magnitude: 5.2
Duration: Lasting about 4 minutes or so at 4:35 this morning.
Epicenter: New Salem, Illinois (about 40 miles from me)

Heh, little tidbit. Turns out the quake was felt pretty far away. My mother informed me that she was woken up by it out in NJ and apparently reports were that it was felt out in GA as well

Nope. Never noticed it.

Yuppers, the original 5.2 woke me right up (we're about 40 miles southeast of the epicenter). And, we had the additional fun of the 4.5 aftershock later in the morning, and the other 4.5 the following Monday.

I heard that on the news the day after the quake. Thought it was odd, particularly for a 5.2, but maybe quakes in the middle of the plate travel farther than quakes between the two plates.
