All the greeks here are directed at ethnic groups. Of course, they all have that disclaimer about not discriminating against anyone, but no Latina girls ever join the Chinese sorority and vice versa.

The only defense I'll make of greek life is that in Canada it's much, much smaller so you're one of the unconventional few if you do join a frat.

I had many friends in college who were in fraternities and sororities and many who weren't. Some of both groups were womanizing, alchoholic assholes... Including myself sometimes, lol.

Oh. Well, I hate fucking frat boys, too. Them, with their parties and girls and damn rock music. Plus, who would choose to live in a house full of men in college. Gayer than Broadway cowboys, they are.

Yuppers, I am a truth-teller. My frat was co-ed. And the initiation ritual (or whatever they call it) consisted of the leaders of the frat wearing black corsets and silk boxers [depending on gender] under their robes and disrobing in the middle of the ceremony. It was not what I imagined a business fraternity would be like.

Is a scholastic fraternity the same as a business fraternity? I'm not sure. I got some certificate with Greek letters for my grades as well, so I think I belong to a honor fraternity. And then Phi something or other for law school.
