I am just looking at the overall trend Even Rand Paul softening up on immigration. Maybe both sides are realizing that the radical element is going extinct.
I don't watch any of them either.

I can't watch Fox for more than five minutes without wanting to hit the tv. Olberman and Shultz were like licking sugar off broken glass. Just like here I won't open threads by certain people because it is just bullshit.

Since I released my “Cold Dead Hand” video on Funny or Die this week, I have watched Fux News rant, rave, bare its fangs and viciously slander me because of my stand against large magazines and assault rifles. I would take them to task legally if I felt they were worth my time or that anyone with a brain in their head could actually fall for such irresponsible buffoonery. That would gain them far too much attention which is all they really care about.

I’ll just say this: in my opinion Fux News is a last resort for kinda-sorta-almost-journalists whose options have been severely limited by their extreme and intolerant views; a media colostomy bag that has begun to burst at the seams and should be emptied before it becomes a public health issue.

I sincerely believe that in good time, good people will lose patience with the petty and poisonous behavior of these bullies and Fux News will be remembered as nothing more than a giant culture fart that no amount of Garlique could cure.

I wish them all the luck that accompanies such malevolence.

I stopped watching the news and reading the news. What I do is read books by authors like David Halberstam, who painfully explored American institutions like Detroit, the media, politics, and major events.

The problem for the GOP is: They wont attract any new voters to their ranks, and they'll piss off their base. What I expect to happen is for GOP voters to stay home in 2014, and for the GOP moderates to get their asses kicked.

I still see Christie as the modulating voice of reason; the future GOP, and why he is not very well liked within the GOP right now. The writing is on the wall and the fringe to rads don't like it. If he has any skeletons hiding in the dark corners of his closet he had best shake them out now and get ahead of it.

I think you will see Fox moving Christie coverage to the front burner and fringe moved to the back burners and put on low simmer, until they can get back in office then the fringe will go into full boil for another decade or so.

The Right is the GOPs base, and if Karl Rove pushes a moderate like Christie the Right will sit home, Christie knows it. The GOP has a huge problem. Like Francis Bacon said about wealth: YOU CANT LEAVE IT BEHIND AND YOU CANT TAKE IT WITH YOU.

People care about their money, all the other stuff comes in far behind. The Democrats don't wanna deal with the economy, and neither does the GOP, but the GOP is in deep trouble if they think they can woo Gays and Illegals and Blacks and perfessers away from the Democrats. Aint gonna happen. So its all BS for now.

Cable "news" channels are so filled with hateful rhetoric, I can't watch any of them. Whether it's Sean Vannity, Tingles Matthews, MadCow, the drunk leprechaun, the America hating bloke or MasterHater Maher none of it is worth listening to.
