Forum link misdirecting to Control Panel

I have a tech support problem and I don't have sufficient privileges to post this question in the Tech Support thread.

I have an issue that when I want to go to https://forum.literotica.com/ I'm prompted to Log In, of course. When I do, however, I am invariably taken to my Control Panel instead of this forum. I have to go down to the bottom on a page and click Forum multiple times before the site understands that I want to go to the Forums and not my Control Panel.

Am I doing something wrong? What may I do to correct this?

I was already logged in but when I clicked 'Forum' I was directed to the list of Videos. I had to go to home and then Bulletin Board.

There's two parts to the tech support board. The lower section in for Manu only, but the thin band at the top labelled "Lit Tech Support" should be available for you.

I usually start on https://www.literotica.com, the page with the drawing of the girl on tiptoes. Then I scroll down to the Site Index and click on "Stories & Pics," which takes me to https://www.literotica.com/stories/. Then I click on "Login" at the top of the page. That takes me to the login page. When I log in and click "Let's go" it takes me back to the stories page. Then I click on "Bulletin Board" which take me to https://forum.literotica.com/. That page doesn't seem to realize that I'm logged in, but if I click on one of the forums the forum page itself does know that I am.

To visit my user control panel I click on my username at the top of the stories page. When I'm done with the control panel, I use the back button on the browser to get back to the stories page.

I sometimes go straight to the forum page from the stories page without logging in. Then I'm able to read posts anonymously, but not to post or search. If I try to log in from the main forum page I think I have to go through the shenanigans you describe.

[Actually, it seems that there are two different versions of the main forum page. If I log in as described above and click "Bulletin Board" on the stories page I get the old version. But if I then use the browser back button and click "Bulletin Board" again, I get the new version. Weird. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I only access Lit using my browser's private browsing mode.]

Am I doing something wrong? What may I do to correct this?

Try clicking on another thread on that page - if you've already logged in, it should pick you up when you go into another thread. It appears to be a sporadic glitch, but I've found doing that always gets me in properly.
