If that is true, I'm pretty sure that it isn't a coat of arms, just as a technical matter.

Curious, what's the difference of using any of the dozen or so free Coat of Arms websites to get a family crest as opposed to using ChatGpt of Grok?

As a practical matter, nothing.
If you want to virtue signal on the interwebz... that's a whole different ball game.
