My wife rented this, we both like Hugh Laurie. She thought it was awful, but I did not think it was so bad. Plenty of Hugh, and plenty of sex.

It's a british TV series that was very short lived. A doctor and his family and their issues. There is a lot of interesting (and subtle) comedy. And even though Stephen Fry is not a regular, there was some scenes with him that were amazing. But you have to understand the history of Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry.

Although I've seen Mr. Laurie in many things (not this) his presentation in House overshadows them all for me. I find that I tend to reject him in other roles.

I like hugh laurie too, but never heard of that either.

Used to watch him in Black Adder, he was freakin hilarious....and with Stephen Fry which was also hilarious.

I was in England in the 80s and really miss the comedy..
