Newly installed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a long history of accusing policies and political enemies of “racism,” a review of her social media and TV news appearances show.

The Post looked at Jean-Pierre’s tweets between 2015 and 2020 and found a staggering 57 instances where she accused people, policies, ideas, or words of being “racist.”

And Jean-Pierre accused people and ideas she was opposed to as “racist” at least 43 times in TV appearances too, according to video clipping service Grabien, whose available analysis spanned just the first two years of President Trump’s term in office. Her target on both social media and TV was overwhelmingly Trump.

Jean-Pierre, a one-time national spokesperson for the far-left group MoveOn, has never been shy about dropping the R word for polices and institutions she found objectionable as well.

She is a championship-level race hustler. I suspect she'll be spending a lot of time trying to assert KKK links to every conservative news outlet she encounters.

Blacks are for Democrats what the religious right is for Republicans. Each is an unpopular constituency whose votes are necessary for electoral victories.

That is why each constituency needs to be pandered to. The challenge is to give them rhetorical support without doing anything to advance their agenda. President Reagan was good at this. He pretended to oppose abortion, but the three justices he nominated for the Supreme Court voted to retain Roe vs Wade. President Trump may have over done things by making it likely that Roe will really be over ruled.

Then we have events where racists accuse others of being racist which is rich in self-canceling hypocrisy.
I’m sure we do (but have no examples) and both could be correctly labelling the other as a racist

that’s not what self-cancelling means though, even if it’s hypocrisy

Oh, but it does. Being racist and making accusations of racism cancels one's credibility, thus he is "self canceled," while the act of doing so exposes one's hypocrisy as well. Have another Nightcrawler. :D

No it doesn’t. When naftali Bennett accuses people of racism, he’s sometimes right, even though he’s a racist.

racists can sometimes be right.

Yes, but they are still hypocrites, and in the minds of fair people examining the subject, his opinion will be discounted and carry less intellectual weight. For instance, most thinking people wouldn't give two shits about what Louis Farrakhan or David Duke thought about racism.

I’m not sure that ‘fair people’ are involved. Both Farrakhan and duke have substantial followings and remain influential. They’re not cancelled

It’s very rich considering there is no more racism in the
There is certainly no more racial discrimination against blacks. Blacks are discriminated in favor of with affirmative action programs.
It’s white people who are the victims of racism now.

57 times since 2015, a period during which Donald Trump spent 4 years as president?

She must not have been too active on Twitter, in that case.

Believe me, the vast majority of the American people wouldn't give a hoot in hell for the opinions of either.

I’m sure That’s true.

the vast majority of America people also have no interest in Donald trump. But he’s likely to be the republican candidate And have a decent crack at a second term.

I’m not sure this is a numbers conversation.

He has tremendous support. Democrat presidential candidates wish they could draw a third of the crowd size he turns out. If they don't kill him first, he'll be back in the White House in 2025
