Apologies if this is addressed elsewhere. I know that, in Lit's text editor, song lyrics require manually inserted line breaks. (You know, the "<br>" thing.) Is the same true for text includes a list of items, such as a list of favorite movies?

If the list is written down somewhere in your world, I can't see why it wouldn't work. But generally speaking if your list isn't formatted as a list in your fictional world (like a note, or text, or on someone's hand), just write it normally in your prose or it could be a bit jarring.

You mean like the rules of Fuck Club in You Spin Me Round (scroll down to the end of page 2)?

I used a numbered list in Predators. But I always submit a Word .doc file, so just used Word's list feature to create the list (it's on page 11, it's a long story if you just want to see how the list is formatted.)

If you're using html markup, you don't need the <br>. Just use <ul> (unordered list) or <ol> (ordered list) and <li>list item</li> for each item. Then </ul> or </ol>, as appropriate, to end the list. I don't know if Lit supports descriptive lists (</dl>).

Edit: reread your post. If you just want to list names, without an HTML structured list, then yes, you'll need to insert a <br> at the end of each line.

Thanks y'all. I'll play around and see which option works best.

The context here is something I've never done before. One of my characters is a science fiction buff. (Obviously, this is my geek pride entry.) After "the end," the story has a bonus feature of sorts, like a DVD, where he lists his favorite sci-fi movies of all time.
