Agree. My guess is a story submitted with indents would either be fixed before publishing, or be rejected if someone was trying to force indents with too clever html.I cannot recall ever seeing this. And from the Site's standpoint, it wouldn't make sense to allow it, just to accommodate a writer's wish. From the Site's standpoint it makes sense to have a consistent format so readers always know what to expect.
What I don't get is that authors can clearly see the house style, yet still ask how to do indents. I wonder what these folk actually "see" when they look at a Lit page. It must be some kind of carryover from being a typist, or from always using document templates on their software. Odd.
