Ok, so in less than 36 hours I'm going to be on a plane, on my way to move to Boston, from Seattle.
I've packed, shipped boxes, changed major addresses, said goodbye to my closest friends spending a teary evening with each of them, etc.
For people who've made big moves like this before, is there anything that I might be forgetting??? Talk about the panic of what am I forgetting!.. lol. I thought it was bad when I just want on trips, this is muuuuch more.. :)
This is my first big move, .. so if there's anything I might not be thinking of, I'd love to hear it. :)

I can't think of a thing.. except to wish you well and much happiness in your new life. :)

Thank you so much Kitty.. while it's scary... it's also so exciting, and I know it's a very good thing. :)

Zaudika, honey? Aren't you taking us with you? *sniffles*

(you're gonna have to turn it off to pack it, I'm afraid. ;) )

Don't worry... removed the batteries even just in case. ;) lmao.

Before you leave do a walk about to double check everything

Like making sure I'm not leaving anything behind?... its a bit more difficult for that..but I will. Most of my stuff is packed into a storage in the house right now. (gave up my condo and stayed with my parents this last month before I left.) but as far as checking my room over. I most definitely will. Great advice. :) Thank you.

LMAO!!!!!!!....... OH!.............. <<BLUSH>> ..... oh.. hehe.. <snort> <laugh> <giggle> .... let me go hide now..... :)

I just can't help it Nora, you make me think naughty thoughts.

I left the wok on top of the cupboard once when moving 1200 miles. I had opened every closet and cupboard, but failed to look UP that one last time. In the end I just bought a new wok. I'll bet you'll find they have stores in Boston, too, the east coast is not all that behind-the-times.

Nah, plenty of stores out there. Definitely a culture shock though, things are a LOT different on the East coast... I've only spent approximately 2 weeks there, I'm sure I'll discover more differences once living there, not that that's a bad thing. :)

Good save! :D

You're gonna love it there, hon. :) And if y'all ever get out to Concord and happen to pass by Ralph Waldo Emerson Hospital, wave at it and say, "Hey! That's where Nora was born!"

Ok, so I'm a bit egomaniacal. ;)

Have fun.....
