As a newbie in this community, I'm still sorting through my reactions, after posting and receiving a variety of responses. First, I'd like to say how pleasantly surprised I am at how polite and positive folks are! Second, I know that I don't have much time to participate (one of the things about being a bonafide latebloomer is that one can find oneself incredibly busy with all the things that some folks do earlier in life!). I hope you will look for and respond to my postings even if they are sporadic.

Finally, I'm going to request that you don't send me private messages. Having made every conceivable mistake in my relationships, I've concluded that for my current Good Thang to flower and thrive, transparency and fidelity is essential.
