I am open to a lot of things but you stated cheating not an open relationship. There is a difference.
I've been cheated on once in my life. I never saw him again...never again. (And that was in a COMMITTED relationship).

From a stistical point of view your poll has a fundamental floor. You should define if they are in a MM MF or FF relationship to start with.
Some on in an FF relationship could well answer opposite sex and one in MF the same sex for much the same reason hence by not capturing the data your results will be floored.

One thing I walk away from every experience with is a lesson learned. Some take longer to learn than others but in this case I caught on right away.

Since many people aren't replying I'll just state what I was looking for thus creating a (what would the term be. I took stats last year, it's when the researcher ruins the study by providing coercive information)
But there have been studies done on the question I posed. When specifically asked college student 18-24 heterosexual males reported that they would rather there partner cheat on them with a male.
Women had a sharply less degree of preference.
I consider many people on the board to be sexually libral and I was just wondering if that would alter the results.
