((((((((((((Jacqline))))))))))) thanks, yep love those HUMP days!!!! But having days off during the week, they seem to go by sooooo fast! I guess that is how it is for ppl with weekends off too though! I just don't understand why we all have to work so hard. If there is ever a presidential candidate that shows us a way that we can live and have a nice life without working, especially as hard as some of us do, he/she will definitely get my vote!!! Hope things are going well for you and that the new job is still enjoyable. Take care sweetie!

Dr. Tim Johnson (their advisor) said there are several drugs that are safe that work the same way on the market like Celebrex. Your Dr. should be informed on them. I am just happy that they found this out before too many incidents happened.

i have never been on vioxx, but have taken celebrex for several years, if you have not tried it, i think it would be a good one to try, and there is lots of new things everyday coming out, hope yu find the right one!! hugs!!!

I will be going back to the dr. in a few weeks and I will ask him then. Like I said after I heard about them comparing Celebrex and Vioxx and that twice as likely to get heart disease I only take it when extremely urgent. Thanks I hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks. They gave me Celebrex when I originally hurt my shoulder. I can't take it due to it upsets my stomach. But when I go back I will ask them if there is something else that they can give me.

I just got back from the specialist. He said the collitis that I had was Crohn's disease but it was low grade but it could spread to other areas of the colon, small intestines, etc.. that is why I had to take the test to drink the barium, but it was normal. He said since things seem to be going well to quit taking the Asacol. He said keep the Asacol that I have. He said sometimes, especially if it is low grade, that when stop taking it the patient never has anymore problems. He said but it might flair back up and if so start to take it again and call him and will order me some more. He gave me a year prescription of Prevacid and told me to check to see if my insurance does the mail order prescriptions. It will save me alot of money! He said he is recommending that I come back in a year. But if I need to, to call him and get back in to see him. So I feel good about that!

sounds like you got some good news at the dr, hope all continues to go well for you, i am sure there are other anti-inflamatory drugs you can use! i am sure you do feel a bit relieved, hope yu have a good day, and a good weekend!!i am working for the most part, we are going to a bonfire , weiner roast type get together have a couple of beers!! then more work on sunday, did get the foundation poured this week for the next new house!! finally something is going right!! take care hugs!!!
