Thanks baby! I am going to rest. Do as little as possible and try to get over this flu or whatever it is. Love you.

Good evening to all my friends. Hope that you are all doing well. I am feeling better and just taking it easy and trying to rest some. Tomorrow I have to look over all the medical insurance pamplets and decide what I am going to go with for next year! I hate it. But we have to have insurance and have to make sure that it a plan that we can afford.

EEK! Going thru insurance forms (while necessary) is definitely a masochistic act! ;)

Well there are some I have to go through to pay!:( But this is all those booklets that they give us during open season to decide which insurance carrier we want to go with for the next year. Some have so many out of pocket items and deductibles,etc...

Well I finally figured out what insurance to go with for next year. Now I have to make the changes at work. It is so hard to weight the differences and see which is the best plan for me.

Hope you have a nice evening. Take care and I will see you in the morning! hugs and kisses.

Better you than me--doing that insurance opting! That causes my eyes to rotate around in my head like a slot machine! LOL

Toni..........Thanks for bumping my threads..  My little man had his Christmas bazaar today. He was thrilled because he won a game boy advantage player with a game or two...:D checking that off his list... He wanted one of those electric scooters but I decided our area has tooooo much traffic and I would worry. I trust him and I think he would be good on it but I don't trust the other folks out there... Well I hope this finds you feeling better....:rose:

Wow! That is great! I don't think Daniel's school ever has anything that nice. They have to fund raisers, where the parents/friends spend a fortune, and the kids get some cheap little toy that looks cool in the pic, but then breaks 5 mins after they get it! I am feeling better. Have to go back to work tonight. When does yours get out for the holidays? Daniel's last day is 12/19. That day the 6th graders have Christmas Around the World. It counts for 2 grades but they learn about and tell parents about the different countries and traditions etc... and they have food from all those countries. My aunt said that last year it was great!!!! She said that some of the Mexican women brought alot of tamales, tortillas etc.. Daniel invited my aunt and cousin to go this year. and of course, his mom is going to be there. I will probably be tired but wouldn't miss for anything! I can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

I got an email this morning I thought was cute, so posting it here. Hope you enjoy it.

To Santa, From Mom

Dear Santa:

I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned, and cuddled all my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor, sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground and figured out how to attach nine patches onto my daughter's girl scout sash with staples and a glue gun.

I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.

Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache after a day of chasing kids (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to carry a screaming toddler out of the candy aisle in the grocery store. I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.

If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like a car with fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music; a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals; and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.

On the practical side, I could use a talking daughter doll that says, "Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence, along with one potty-trained toddler, two kids who don't fight, and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools. I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting, "Don't eat in the living room" and 'Take your hands off your brother,' because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog. And please don't forget the Playdoh Travel Pack, the hottest stocking stuffer this year for mothers of preschoolers. It comes in three fluorescent colors and is guaranteed to crumble on any carpet making the In-laws' house seem just like mine.

If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container. If you don't mind I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely.

It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family; or if my toddler didn't look so cute sneaking downstairs to eat contraband ice cream in his pajamas at midnight.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is ringing and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back. Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the chimney and come in and dry off by the fire so you don't catch cold. Help yourself to cookies on the table, but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

Yours Always...Mom.

P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in You?!?

Just living proof that in Joisey, when the going gets tough; the tough go shopping! LOL :D

I see Santa's Posting Sloot is awake....:p :D It is windy here and has been all night--lots of power lines down and outages, but not unusual for a late fall/winter storm. Luv ya, sweets! :rose:
