For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Kaboom Day in Russia

Ukraine sanctions Russian oil and gas infrastructure - pumping station thru which oil to Hungary and Slovakia is moved has been hit and destroyed, and oil supplies halted. Very effective sanctioning.

Terrible situation in Crimea with fuel. Oh dear. Fuel crisis has not yet touched Moscow and St Petersburg.

Azerbaijan is preparig for war with Russian. Azerbaijan modernizing their military equipment. Russia has stated that after ealing with Ukraine they will look at the Caucasus. Azerbaijan is taking these threats seriously and Turkey is supporting them.

Nice Flamingo (FP5) video. Same company is building 100 FP1 drones per day. The warhead for the Flamimgo is an old 1000lb Soviet bomb - there are gazillions of these in stock in Ukraine and also all across Eastern Europe. No chance of running low on these.

A VERY good look at the Flamingo

It was called Flamingo because of an error at the factory and the first ones came out painted pink

1150 kg warhead vs 450kg for Tomahawl
3000kn range vs 2500 for Tomahawk
1 per day, upping to 7 per day in October

Russia's air defences have been degraded, meaning the Flamingo's can penetrate......and when they hot, that's a KA-BOOM!!!!!!

Re the FP1, in 2023 they were given a goal of producing 30 drones per month - now they produce 100 per day.

Previously a lot of restrictions on weapons sent and usage, especially deep into Russian territory. Ukraine has been restricted on striking deep into Russia. Until now.

Just as an indicator pf how "don't give a shit" the Russians are, they just openly admitted to committimg a war crime and deliberately targeting and striking a medical facility. Actually, they didn't admit it, they boasted of it. THat's the nature of Russian's war.

Russian Ammunition Convoy Falls Into Ukraine’s Drone Trap

A Russian convoy carrying about 50 tons (45,000 kg) of ammunition moved into a refueling stop… But only minutes later, two FPV suicide drones surged forward at nearly 125 mph (200 km/h)—like deadly arrows piercing straight toward the trucks. Two strikes in less than five minutes… and the entire stockpile erupted.

The blast could be seen from more than 12 mi (20 km) away.

This is happening again and again and again behind Russian lines.

Putin Sends a Message to Trump - hits an American Factory in Ukraine with Missiles

As the world waits for Putin's response to Trump's intiative to end the war, Putin has replied.....wriggling out of any meetings and striking an American-owned factory

Putin never agreed to trilateral talks
Putin never agreed to any ceasefire

No reaction from Trump so far despite his great relationship with Vlad. No mention. Nada.

Ben's great when he goes on these rants.

I haven’t seen any specific security offer from Trump at this point in time. I’ve heard the term “Article 5 like” guarantees, presumably meaning similar to the Article 5 provisions under NATO, but not the same thing. Other than pledging some form of US support as a “backstop” (the term European leaders are using), Trump is has been vague about exactly what the US is willing to provide. He’s ruled out boots on the ground in past statements, and reiterated that yesterday. I suppose some American personnel in Ukraine is possible, but if so it would be non-combat rolls. Most observers are assuming US would provide air support, air defense systems, logistics and intelligence support. But right now Trump is playing his cards close to the vest.
We haven’t seen any real offer because Zelensky and Putin haven’t even agreed to meet. What we absolutely don’t want is some “Article Five-style” deal that drags U.S. ground troops into Ukraine, and neither does Russia. Trump’s goal is simple: get both sides to the table to talk about how to end the war. The problem is Zelensky doesn’t seem willing to stop if it means giving up any of the territory already lost, and Putin isn’t about to hand back land that cost him tens of thousands of soldiers. That leaves a brutal reality: this war may only end with a decisive victory or a crushing defeat, not a tidy compromise.

American factory in Ukranine hit by missile attack - workers killed - Trump = silent

Oil pimping Station in Russia and generating foreign exchange to aid utin's war hit - Trump "very angry"

Draw your own conclusions

"Zelensky and Putin haven’t even agreed to meet." Sorry to be rude but that is ABSOLUTE FUCKING BULLSHIT

Zelensky has agreed time and time again to meet. Zelensky has done everything asked from him by the Putin-symp in the White House. Putin has dodged and evaded like the Russian Rat he is. Listen to Lavrov. Trump has intentionally lied about what was agreed to. Listen to Lavrov.
- Putin NEVER agreed to tripartate talks (Zelensky did)
- Puntin has never agreed to any ceasefire (Zelensky has)

Trump and Shit for brains-koff simpliy lied about everything. We're back to "two weeks" or "50 days" or whatever story it is this week to put off imposing sanctions on Russia - and just look at this morning.....

Draw your own conclusions, but stick to reality. It hurts for me to admit that Trump is a Putin cock-sucking symp, I voted for him, after all, but facts are facts and actions speak louder than words. Trump's actions with regard to Ukraine don;t speak. They scream. I have no idea why he is doing something spo deterimental to America's interests but he is.

Zelensky has been very clear that Ukraine will NOT give up the occupied territries, and he shouldn't either. Russia is the invader here, and handimg a victory to Putin is simply settig up for the next war, somethung Zelemsky and Ukrainians understand clearly. Ukraine will fight on, with or without the USA.

You're right about the brutal reality though. We just need to make sure it's Russia that suffers the crushing defeat. Which preferably leads to the disintegratuin of the Russian Federation and the excape of the remaining colonies from the claws of the rabid Russian bear.

So tell us when and where their meeting will take place, Chloe?

Ask Putin. So far, Lavrov has said it;s not happening. Putin simply refuses to meet with Zelensky. Inhis eyes that legitimizes Ukraine as an independant nation, and Putin's goal is not a peace agreement and the continued existence of Ukraine. Putin's goal is is the completed efeat of Ukraine and the recreation of the old Tsarist / Soviet Empire - which includes the Baltic States, the Caucasus, and all the rest of it - which the Russians have made plain time and time again - the takeover of Georgia being an example. Azerbaijan understands......the Baltic States understand....Finland understands....Poland understands. Every country that has been under the Russian yoke undertands.

There will ne no meeting, and THAT is becauzse Russia refuses.

It isn't taking place. The rest of her post makes that clear smas well as the reasoning why it isn't.
I know, when I said, referring to the here and now, "We haven’t seen any real offer because Zelensky and Putin haven’t even agreed to meet," Chloe said that was bullshit. So I asked her to tell us where they had agreed to meet. They have not agreed to meet since Trump's current effort.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that President Vladimir Putin is prepared to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but only once all major issues are worked out in advance. Lavrov questioned whether Zelenskiy has the authority to sign a peace deal, adding that experts and ministers must prepare recommendations first. The comments come after Trump and Putin met in Alaska for their first summit in more than four years, where they discussed ending the war in Ukraine.

Russia's conditions are such that Ukraine will never agree as they amount to the capitulation of Ukraine.

When I said they haven't agreed to meet you said that is bullshit. So when is the new expected meeting going to take place?

Zelensky has agreed to meet.

Putin hasn't.

Trump's last statement was that it's: "'Better' if Putin & Zelensky meet without me..."

We know that will never happen - Russia continues to refuse to adjust their demands, counting on winning the war, which is not looking like a good bet these days, but that's okay.

My personal opinion: Zelensky has been making nice, doing his best to play along with Trump, knowing Russia will never agree. Ukraine understands Russia's military strengths and weaknesses far better than Trump, who has an inf;ated belief in Russia's strengths and capabilities that it serves Ukraine to maintain. Ukraine is runnimg a highly effective propaganda smokescreen, a maskirovka in the true Soviet usage, helping cloak their true capabilities and plans. The trope of exhausted Ukrainian fighters barely clinging to ground can only be seen as deliberately manufactured for a purpose. Ukraine’s leadership appears to be exploiting this mistaken narrative to prepare another surprise for Putin

We know the ZSU is consistently mobilizing and training around 25k men a month, reequipping and training existng units and reinforcig them, building up a strategic reserve that we have seen no sign of. We know they have a LOT of new equipment - they are, literally, rolling out hundreds of Bohdana 155mm guns, they are adding new IFV's at the rate of at least a Brigade a month being equipped or reequpped with their own BTR4's, the new Lynx's being built in Ukraine since late last year, and CV90's, as well as Patria's and whatever else is being hand over quietly. They are no longer short of artillery ammo and have superiority over the Russians in that and in drones. They have more F16's and Mirages. They have their own glide-bombs, they have these new cruise missiles. Ballistics are coming soon.

Ukraine is NOT at Trump's beck and call. They are playing their own game and Trump is merely one more factor for them to deal with. Biden was a known, and they were a lot more desperate for help them - Trump can still be an adverse factor but they are playing him nicely, and if I'm right about that slow-rolling Ukrainian offensive getting underway, things are going to go very badly for Putin over the next 2-3 months and at that point Trump will be unable to protect Putin from the results f his own decisions.

Let the maskirovka run. Let Trump continue to stall and prevaricate on those meetings with Putin. No problem. Soon enough Russia;s oil refineries will be gone, their foreign eschange will dry up, their factories will be un ruins and ther military capabilities will be reduced to the point that Ukraine can move in for the kill. There's no pint in large scale offensives until the situation is ripe - and these smaller lovcalized counter offensives are aimed at continually weakneing the RFussians, drawing them in and inf;lictuing heavy casualties that they are no longer capable of replacing. (Remember, Q2 - 30k losses a month vs 13k replacements - a net loss of 17k men per month). Russian units now are generally responding rather than attacking - they are losing the initiative and there are now gaps appearing, units pulling back or disintegrating or ncapable of combat, all good news for Ukraine. They are also not mobile - Russia is an infantry army now and when the Ukrainians do break thru, moving in foot and with their railways taken out, it will be very hard for them to respond.

Putin and Trump are in fact playing into Syrski's and Zelensky's hands, and Zelensky is, remember, a very good actor. What he says and how he portrays himself and how he reacts for Trump may well be a well-rehearsed act - until the time is right.

Food for thought.

Fake Vests, 1891 Rifles, and a System of Lies: Russia’s Military Isn’t What You Think

On Russian state TV, a prominent anchor dares to say the quiet part out loud: the Russian military is built on lies.

From foam-filled bulletproof vests to soldiers using rifles designed in the 1800s, this exposé reveals how deep the rot goes—from propaganda posters in Kherson to helmets made of plastic and uniforms that never existed. Mobilized troops are told to bring their own gear, while crowdfunding campaigns cover basics like shoes and socks. This video dives into the myths, the mock weapons, and the strange truth about why the so-called second strongest army in the world can’t even supply its soldiers with matching boots.

Let me rephrase. You said "Zelensky AND Putin haven’t even agreed to meet."

There is no AND in "Zelensky and Putin agreed"....

Zelensky agreed.

Putin has not, did not and will not agree.

LOL. Sorry, I have been ranting away this morning and I likely failed to be clear about what it was that I meant. The foam and flying spittle and head banging on my display got in the way LOL

No need for an apology Chloe, I understand. A meeting might happen, but let’s be honest: both sides will walk in with demands carved in stone. Too much blood has been spilled, too many thousands of lives lost, for either man to simply fold and walk away. Every grave dug on that battlefield has raised the political stakes higher, and no handshake at a conference table is going to erase that. This war might not be heading for compromise, it’s likely heading for a verdict delivered on the battlefield, by victory or defeat.

Did you see? Putin sent Trump a photo of them together.

Peace is achieved.

He might be at the world cup...he might not be.

So exciting for the President of our country.
