For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Lol....47 won't do shit against Putin... he'll apply useless sanctions and claim they do more than they do.

47;wants to invite Putin into the G7.
Wait and see. Trump has been pretty forth coming when it comes to Putin. Trump has been the toughest against Putin. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.

He said he wanted Russia in the G7.

He called Putin's invasion, "genius"
He called Zelensky a dictator
He blamed Ukraine for Russia's invasion

Ukranian Drone units.....Daily Mail Frontline reporter Richard Pendlebury and cameraman Jamie Wiseman travel to the Kharkiv Oblast’s frontline areas, where they meet the futuristic ground drones deployed by Ukraine’s most innovative combat unit - the 13th Khartiia Brigade. It claims to be the template for a future, cutting edge Ukrainian army. As such, the brigade is able to recruit Ukraine’s best officer cadets, counts a number of celebrities among its volunteer soldiers, and is no stranger to visiting global dignitaries.

I love how they've reinvented the battlefield with drones.

The Kyiv Independent spent a day with one of Ukraine's top drone units, the Achilles Strike Drone Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, documenting their missions to hunt down Russian military equipment ― and soldiers ― near Kupiansk, Kharkiv Oblast, where Moscow is currently on the offensive.

Drone warriors: we follow Darwin, a 21-year-old elite FPV drone pilot, on a mission-packed day with the "Achilles" battalion. Witness how he skillfully targets Russian tanks, armored vehicles, and soldiers with precision.

First-person view, or FPV drones, are the latest in battlefield technology. Cheap, easy to produce, and simple to operate, they provide their pilots with a drone's-eye-view of the battlefield by beaming a video signal back to a VR headset. This means the pilot can make very precise manoeuvres - strap an old-fashioned anti-tank shell to the bottom of the drone, and you now have a modern precision weapon that can blow up tanks worth millions for just a few hundred dollars. Some people think they're changing warfare forever, so we're going to analyse a piece of footage and speak to a man making the drones for the Ukrainian army to find out.

The Kursk "Encirclement"......It was probably not difficult for Putin to convince Trump that the Ukrainians were surrounded at Kursk; without advisors, Trump would have no chance of locating Ukraine and Kursk on the world map.

Good report, but…

YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP!!!

😑

You had two options after realizing you had been played.

You could have slithered away in shame or you could do what you’re doing.

I’m not sure you made the correct choice.

These reports coming from A TRUMP VOTER ring hollow and weak.

It isn’t the message - it’s the messenger.

He was equivocating his thought process not his moral compass.

I'll be really surprised now if Trump comes down hard on Putin. He's more likely to apply more pressure on Zelensky to capitulate. Which won't happen. Ukraine has been fighting Russia for 3 years. They won't stop because Trump blusters and cuts of American aid.

Watch those drone videos. Ukraine is replacing artillery and air strikes with drones and their own cruise missiles. 4.5 million drones in 2025 - they only produced a little over 1million in 2024. They are building drone brigades now....and their mobilization and training is ongoing. Those drones are starting to swarm the frontlines. I've seen clips of Ukrainian drone operators stealing Russian soldier kills from each other because their's more drones than available Russians. They're now buildimg a "drone wall" which will stretch 40kms into the Russian read.

Aid in their new cruise missiles - they just trialed their new long range heavier payload version on the oil refinery on Tuapse and it was one heck of an explosion. THey're planing to make 9000 of these in 2025. 9000 is most of the Russian oil refineries and tank farms gone. Add in industry and power stations and bridges, railways, etcs and the Russian economy will go first. Personally, I'd be looking to take out a few factories in mid-shift and get all the workers too. Swarm them with drones to reduce any air defences and make a hole and then plaster them with cruise missiles.....but I'm sure they know their job better than me. LOL.

Let us never forget that Ukraine was the old industrial heartland of the old USSR - as they are proving.

I disagree.

I agree, drones have changed some battle strategies.

LOL. Laz Laz Laz, I have always supported Ukraine, and criticized Biden for not doing enough (correct in hindsight). I have stated my views on Trump, Ukraine, and I won't bother again. But unlike you, I am not so hung up on one canidate or the other that I cannot recognize faults in the candidate I voted for and change my mind on the %^$##@@!!!! expletive deleted. This war originated while Biden was President and his Administration did not do nearly enought to support Ukraine. Trump's policies are merely exaggerated versions of what Biden was doing. Worse, absolutely. But YOU were wrong on Biden and cannot admit that. LOL

Pot calling the kettle black, chico.

Yep, and they won't be enough to change the course of the war which is, for all practical purposes, lost.
There, I disagree somewhat. There are nyumerous other factors.

Russian economic collapse. Elimination of the Russian oil industry over the next year.
Destruction or Russian industry
Ukraine is building a modern mechanized Army. Russia is regressing to mass infantry, but their nuymbers are declining. 100k less men available over 2025. #'s in Ukraine dropping and the frontlines thinning out. Ukraine now making steady incremental gains in the Donbas.
Ukrainian artillery on the up and up, and artillery ammo supplies picking up, to the extent the US dropping out will have little impact (Denel South Africa and South Korea supplying 155mm ammo is a BIG win for Ukraine) - that $2billion dollar contract is 500,000 x 155mm artillery shells. THAT replaces US ammo supply with a big margin to spare)
400 Lynx IFV's, 400 Fuchs, a like number of CV90's, more Patrias and VABs in 2025 are all going to have an impact. And THAT is not counting Ukraine's own production of armored vehicles. They have their own BTR4 IFV's also rolling off the line, as well as armored vehicles....
Ukrainian Army reorg into Corps / Brigade structure with younger war-trained Corps commanders will help a lot. Organization has not been Ukraine's strength but this is changing.
More Mirages or Gripens? May or may not happen but if it does, it will make a difference. Maybe those Belgian F16's too, if Trump ceases too fuck with killing capabilities. May be too late to get back those lost F35 sales tho.

Long Neptune....a few thousand of these will adjust Russia's outlook / Ukrainian-designed and manufactured BTR4 IFV

One "Long Neptune" hitting the Tuapse Oil Refinery and tank farm. A strategic move by Ukraine. Ukrainian domestic missile production shows resilience and innovation under pressure. Ukraine is now independent in terms of long-range missile attack capability and targeting, especially deep inside of Russia..(they were previously limited in range for the western weapons they had, and also by western restrictions on targets). Those restrictions no longer apply.

One wonders when the Kerch Bridge will be dropped.

Cite where I was “wrong on Biden” or STFU and APOLOGIZE

TIA.
Grow up, Laz. You couldn't figure it out then and you won't acknowledge it now. I could cite stuff out the ying yang and you would simply deny reality, as you did when Biden was the figurehead. Point is, I can acknowledge I was wrong. You can't. LOL. Of course it makes no difference to the war, so I'm quite happy letting it drop and letting bygones be bygones. But don't deny it, it's pointless. And I will laugh at you too.

Which I would prefer not to do because when all's said and done, while we disagree on details, we both advocate FOR Ukraine and that's what we should be doing rather than wasting time arguing over the past.

🙄

NOTHING is in “the past”…

We are STILL in the moment…

😑

Also:

If you could “cite stuff out the ying yang” where I was “wrong on Biden” then DO IT or STFU and APOLOGIZE. (And, NO, President Biden NOT giving Ukraine EVERYTHING they wanted is NOT proof that I was “wrong on Biden”.)

TIA

👍

🇺🇸

Side note:

The only real point to consider is whether President Biden or a President Harris would have been BETTER for Ukraine than President Musk (and DonOld).

President Biden or a President Harris would have been orders of magnitude BETTER for Ukraine than President Musk (and DonOld). Full stop.

Hope that ^ helps.
