For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

You have zero credibility on the subject since anything negative about Ukraine or the Biden administration is Russian propaganda and we know all about your lies and pleadings about and to "Russian propaganda."

McGregor, Davis, and Mearsheimer and many others are right on top of the subject. They have inside credible sources both here and in Europe. You have been lied to, just like you've been lied to about every fucking war America has had, all the way back to Vietnam. You've being lied to right now by the Biden Administration about what is happening in Ukraine. You haven't listened to any of their analysis.

Ukraine is in the process of being defeated strategically. NATO and the Biden administration is being defeated in the process as well...as predicted. Aside from a nuclear exchange, the outcome of this war and Ukraine's future will be dictated by the Russians who have said that negotiations are now off the table. The Russians have said they now they consider themselves at war with the "West," which the "West" as we speak is in no condition whatsoever to prosecute such a war. This is going to end in failure, just like Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In all of which the American people were thoroughly lied to by their government about their operational success and probably outcome.
That's a lot of words for agreeing with Putin.

The Russians say a lot of shit. And you believe it all.

Useful idiot

I don't believe anything the Russian government says, but I do take their diplomatic public statements like, "we believe are at war with the west," seriously. Our government lies to us constantly. I don't believe anything our government media says either. I do believe well informed apolitical people who present expert analysis in their fields of endeavor that make sense with the realities ion the ground. One of these days this thing will end and we'll see who was correct and who wasn't.

They are propaganda statements. Every red line has been scare.tactics.

Remember when they publicly said they weren't invading Ukraine?

How'd that go?

Fun thing is....you don't have to.

You are too stupid, too immature, and uninformed, on the subject to engage me any further so don't bother. It's a waste of both of our time.

You literally parrot Russian talking points.

Daily.

You're not smart...else you'd see that you're doing this.

And it's not because you are avoiding western media.....it's because you want Russia to win.

I attended an interesting lecture today. A retired military officer, neither American or Brit, spoke on the proposition that the USA's involvement in supplying arms to support Ukraine is (and will) in fact save the US taxpayer Billions of $. He summarised the fact that cheap ordinance (Drones and the like) coupled with superb satellite intelligence was making a terrible mess of mobile armour whether on land or sea. Essentially his view was that new cheap weaponry was more effective than tanks, their specialized support and surface warships.

I am not totally convinced of his argument given that 95% of Generals prefer to fight the last war rather than the next, but if there are multiple brain cells in Congress it should on current experience be much more difficult in future to get appropriations for big ticket hardware.

I think you have this backwards. Many Generals, who study war, are acutely aware of the changing warscape. Congress, on the other hand, wants to fight the wars they grew up with and boast about the number of tanks being built in their district.

Canada sending 29 M113's and 64 Coyote's to Ukraine. These are old end of life IFV's, that the Canadians have been planning to scrap for a good couple of years now. It's good that they are going to Ukraine, but soooo frustrating that these could have been refurbished and sent two frigging years ago. The slow-walking of aid to Ukraine is pathetic. Canada could easily have sent a couple of hundred LAV III's as well. Ah well, there's enough Coyote's and M113's there for another Brigade I guess.

Victims of the latest Russian military "victory". Yaroslav Bazylevych lost his entire family. Russians killed his wife, Yevheniya, and their three daughters, Yaryna, Daryna, and Emilia.

Putin needs to be dealt with the way we dealt with the Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg

One would have expected Russia to mount a counteroffensive to eject the ZSU from the 600sq miles they have gained control of in the Kursk region the past month, but so far we have not seen any serious such attempt. But so far, no dice. Whats up?

The Russian command was taken completely unawares and Russia is not great at improvising and reacting capably to fluid situations. The units hey brought in (russia) have not worked with each other before, they're largely meat and not well-trained in any sense of the word. The ZSU has been ranging out beyond the lines they have set, attacking, destroying and disrupting Russian units moving into Kursk, many of which have been poorly trained and poorly motivated conscript units the ZSU has been using as bait to sucker in the more experienced Russian units as they arrive. Add in that logistics are poor and artillery support is lacking and the ZSU is inflicting large numbers of casualties on the Russians without taking many of their own.

🙄

Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang was already educated about why Putin was content to let the Ukrainians play in their little Kursk sandbox. (and other things)

Chloe “Chicongo" Tzang is a remarkably slow learner.

The Ulranians wanted them to pull back in the West and divert troops there. Instead, Putin has doubled efforts, essentially forfeiting Kursk. Putin obviously wants the Western region in control before committing to peace talks.

Let's hope they get their faster than the Bradley's, but I won't be holding my breath. I'll believe it when it actually happens. Until they show up it's just another case of Biden blowing smoke pretending to support Ukraine while stabbing Ukraine in the back.

Aren’t you late for a play date with Vladdy Pootie? You were going to brainstorm about how to pass more misinformation about Harris to the media.

And what have you done to personally help Ukrainian military units? Aside from blowing smoke out your ass on the web and sticking a little Ukrainian flag on your profile doesn't count. Below are snapshots of one month's worth of personal contributions to ZSU units from back in winter 2023 when a lot of units were screaming for winter kit and medical and evac equipment. With some fund-raising, I averaged donating about $1k of equipment a month for around a year and a half. Now, I still do a bit of fund raising and donate largely to drone campaigns and to any campaigns to raise funds for things like vehicles and excavators for preparing defensive positions for specific units.

What do you do other than blow smoke out your ass? Go jerk off somewhere else, dipshit. There's plenty of cuck stuff on Literotica I'm sure you'll enjoy.

The artillery kills have really dropped off. Guess Russia really is running out of guns......a lot of photos now of old WWW2-vintage artillery being shipped out. The barrel is being scraped for guns and tanks. And there's still no signs of any real artillery presence around Kursk. Artillert shelling by the Russians has also apparently dropped off and no progress being made towards Pokrovsk

This week, Portugal delivered the last Ka-32 helicopter of the six it committed to provide to Ukraine in October 2022. Portugal's Defence Ministry stated that the sixth Ka-32 helicopter left for Ukraine on Friday, 6 September. Back in October 2022, Helena Carreiras, former Portuguese Defence Minister, announced the transfer of six helicopters to Kyiv. They were purchased by the Portuguese Interior Ministry in 2006. Carreiras explained that following the introduction of sanctions against Russia, the country could no longer operate the Russian-made Ka-32s, and moreover, one of them had broken down in an accident.

However, as of November 2023, the helicopters remained in Portugal. Lisbon stated at the time that they were awaiting "instructions from the Ukrainian side on the next steps to be taken" for the transfer process. Took them forever, but the last one had now left for Ukraine.....it's a naval helicopter and transport.

Ukraine is building weapons underground to supply the military with arms in the event of delays in military aid from abroad, President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum in Italy on Sept. 7. "We are building underground facilities for the production of weapons so that Ukrainian soldiers can defend themselves even when supplies from our partners are delayed."

Makes sense - Ukraine really needs to be able to supply themselves given the unreliability and slow-walking of aid from The Biden Administration and from Scholz in particular. Ammo especially. And Ukraine has a lot of old underground facilities from the Soviet Cold War days that can be repurposed and were designed to survive nukes. On top of that they are building entire new underground facilities - underground hospitals and schools in particular.

"Misinformation operations in the United States will grow in frequency and intensity as we get closer to the election - and they may not be limited to Russian narratives. Iran is currently undertaking a misinfo campaign aimed at harming the GOP and recently the far-left pro-Hamas publication “The Grayzone” was found to have previously received funding from the Iranian government.

As Americans, we should recognize that the greatest threat to our country isn’t the military of an adversary, but instead the manipulation of our democracy by bad actors that agitate different elements of the political fringe. Our elections are not open season for America’s enemies - we need to secure our voting systems and do everything we can to track and fight misinformation online."

This includes the Russians, Iranians, Chinese, and of course George Soros and funding from other extreme leftists across the board. These misinformation operations come from across the geopolitical spectrum and they are all targeting US voters. It's important that everyone understands this, especially now that the DOJ and FBI have gone blatantly Stazi and are nothing but political stormtroopers of the Democratic Party doing exactly the same thing themselves, forfeiting any expectation that they be treated as anything other than what they are - biased and blatantly political police.

Two and half years of Russia’s grinding offensive have decimated many Ukrainian units. Reinforcements are few and far between, leaving some soldiers exhausted and demoralized. The situation is particularly dire among infantry units near Pokrovsk and elsewhere on the eastern front line, where Ukraine is struggling to stop Russia’s creeping advances.

CNN spoke to six commanders and officers who are or were until recently fighting or supervising units in the area. All six said desertion and insubordination are becoming a widespread problem, especially among newly recruited soldiers.

Four of the six, including Dima, have asked for their names to be changed or withheld due to the sensitive nature of the topic and because they are not authorized to speak to the media.

“Not all mobilized soldiers are leaving their positions, but the majority are. When new guys come here, they see how difficult it is. They see a lot of enemy drones, artillery and mortars,” one unit commander currently fighting in Pokrovsk told CNN. He also asked to remain anonymous.

“They go to the positions once and if they survive, they never return. They either leave their positions, refuse to go into battle, or try to find a way to leave the army,” he added.

This is a long article and one needs to read it in its entirety to appreciate what is being reported . This is a rare peek into the real situation in Ukraine for those in the West who do not have extensive sources in Europe. This is CNN trying to claw back some of its integrity before the coming surrender takes place.
