For those of us who are into RPGs: Which character do you want most?

I saw Svenskaflicka's thread and I couldn't help myself. If you're a gamer and have a PC or NPC you want really badly, let us know. Since few of us are likely to know who the hell they are, describe, describe, describe. Tell us why you want the little bugger. I can't give you literotica awards for sexy descriptions but I can applaud.

For those who aren't gamers but popped in anyway, welcome and I hope we can inspire you to join the club. I'd love to know what you think of who we want <g>.

Once I see a nibble, I'll post my own; I think this could be a lot of fun.

Tsk, I should learn to read. I read this as who would you want to be, not who you would want.

So, what RPG character do I want? I had the extreme hots for Lilly Langtry in that awful TV series about the Kindred.

There was this succuba see, an' she was wearin' this dainty little thong and not much besides the lace-up heels... :D

I would have to say Lucita, the Lasombra Antitribu. Not only is Lucita fighting against the control and depravity of her Sabbat master, Cardinal Moncada, she is fighting for control of her immortal soul. Lucita walks a line of shadow and light. An assassin with a moral code. Her morals are rather low, but very rigid. You know where you stand with Lucita.

Added to the fact that Lucita is a master at the discipline of obtenebration (commanding shadows), which is just a cool ass power, she is smoking hot in all the artwork she is in. The sexier version of Morticia Addams.

Didn't Lucita cross over to The Path of Night?

That's a Sabbat Path as I recall. It requires the follower to be a full blown monster, bringing despair and suffering to the world.

If that's morals, you can keep 'em.

As noted, my character loathes the Shovelheads.

rgraham666,

Lucita did make the switch to the Path of Night and joined the Sabbat, but there is more to her than just her affiliations. Have you read the Gehenna novel? That gives the final details of who Lucita really is.

The last character I played in Vampire, the one we took through the final Gehenna scenario, was a monster. But he was very loyal to those he deemed worthy of his loyalty, even risking his unlife for them. And eventually, his immortal soul. Despite the horrific things he had done, there is a certain morality at work in the psyche of that kind of character. I see Lucita much the same way as I see my former character.

I have always been partial to fallen Paladins of chaotic neutral alignment who wield hand and a half vorpal swords--snicker-snack!

Is it me, or is this going a biiiit overboard? ;)

I don't think so....

If you consider it, your average role-playing game character shows more character development and is placed in more varied situations than is usually possible for a movie character. Since many people find the psychological aspects of sex as appealing, if not flat out more appealing, than the physical aspects, I don't think we're taking it too far. That doesn't mean you can't, but I thought defending the premise of the thread made sense.

Tamlee, that's the point I would have made if you hadn't beat me to it. :)

Roleplaying can be a very deep psychological exercise. They use it in therapy all the time, so why not explore that depth for enjoyment as well? Real roleplaying isn't just about funny shaped dice.

No, no - I know that part. I enjoy roleplaying myself as well, not least because of the interestion socio-psychological experiments you get to carry out as DM (whistling innocently).

But I was refering to... er... Lucita.

AHAHAHAHAHA AERIS AHAHAHAHAHA

In all seriousness, I have ventured very little into rpgs and the rpgs I have played have not been too interesting.

Can't really say who I'd really want. I'll have to consult another fanboy on this one.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA TIFA PR3TTY!!!! AHAHAHAHA

Ok, I'll stop. Just that this thing has kinda irked me over the past little while...

Mmm... right... I honestly don't see why an RPG character should be interesting - they're always just roles played by somebody, and playing a premade one seems like... well, like using a prestretched rubber.

Congratulations Summer :) I just about fell off my chair at your "premade" comments. What I meant to provoke were descriptions of characters you've played or that have been played in your group. No one I play with has ever used a template or a provided character in our games.

For example--I was playing a warlock cyclone pilot in a rifts game who had leg braces so that she could walk outside of her armor. One of my friends was playing a street punk named Edgerunner. He was a graffiti artist, among other things. Shortly after they met, he threatened a group of townies that had harassed her about her legs for years. Between that and the fact that he was flat-out sexy, she fell in love with him a little later. I just fell in lust.

He had the kind of cocky attitude that just made him sexier, rather than annoying, and a lean body usually covered in something designed to show him off. Long, blue hair (usually with visible roots, but we were in the wilderness, so what're you gonna do?) and some poetry that he hid on his computer. I could go on, but I'll spare you. He's not my first PC/NPC choice, but he's up there.

I played a paladin with a pole up his arse so long and stiff he could use his Arrogance +10 effect to make a dragon's eyes glaze over... huzzah...

:p

Then I played a cleric with a pole up his arse.

Then another paladin.

But these were all just one-shot characters. I really wanted to play just one pole-arse, but all the campaigns lasted two sessions... sigh.

My fave character (NPC) tho, was a vampire named Irshe Dalgba - essentially, brought to unlife by the players, he became their worst nightmare. In the end he killed them, but it was heroic.
