I would just like to point out that my responses this evening have earned me mutual boob exposure with SR and adoration/kisses from Veebs.

The men-folk are obviously goofing things up.

And which may ne the most accurate assessment. How do I really know you're not a hallucination?
Sensory input? Intuition? Reason?

Yup. Everybody so far has winced at the thought of having to give up those foods, but I'm just glad to be in control again.

I haven't felt sick since I went off those foods, so yay for me!
That's great, then. I hope it continues to work out for you. And coffee turns out not to be the problem.

Occam's razor (simplicity trumps complexity) is extraneous to this discussion. This is the metaphysical discussion of the testimony of the senses, their validity.

If you need assistance in testing the validity of your senses, I can think of a few experiments...

But how do you know? You can prove it to me, but the proof relies on my being able to see/hear/feel the proof.
To what extent can we rely on our senses? Mirages can and do kill.

Deutsch presents the argument in The Fabric Of Reality; essentially, he says that in order to believe in solipsism, you're choosing incredible complexity over the simplicity of the universe not being your own creation.
