I have worked in surg but never dealt with the cautery at all--please explain to me the grounding concept.
I know that they don't want you wearing any metal incase you get burns at the site--the way I understand it though is that you can't ground to yourself even if it is separate metal objects touching each other.
Do I understand this correctly?
Do I have any need to worry about my pussy rings touching each other during a long surg?
I am contemplating a surgery that will take maybe 2-5 hours and will have a recovery in-hospital time of a full week. It will be impossible for me to simply remove and replace my rings right after surg--and plastic retainers are bad to wear for weeks at a time--any suggestions? I really don't think I can talk my sister into replacing my pussy rings while in the hospital--she is completely horrified that I have them at all!
