It's incredible how many millions of people have fallen for these for-profit college scams.
They sell deceptively overpriced degrees that sometimes cost $30-40K+ per year and when graduates go to apply for jobs, they get turned down because they do not recognize x for-profit college as being a legitimate school.
And when trying to transfer credits from a for-profit college to a legitimate university, they usually don't accept them because it's not from a legitimate college.
At least one dozen for-profit colleges pop up throughout America every single year. Some of which have literally been forced to shut down after the federal government investigated them for fraudulent/criminal activities.
Commercials for these flaky schools on television are becoming almost as annoying as the nonstop bombardment of pharmaceutical advertisements.
