If you could turn back the clock to when you were 20, WOULD YOU? If no why not?

Only if I coul keep what I've learned over the years. With my 20 year old body and what I know now, I would be fucking deadly!

And I might actually develop a younger man fantasy...

Nope not me, I love being 40, this is the best time of my life.

me too

Oh I like being over 40 too, but I think that Rick has the right Idea with knowing what you know now but having the 20 year old body. If nothing else.....nothing would hurt...lol

Not no...... HELL NO!! :D
Everything is better these days. Of course, if I could have my 20 year old body back....... hmmmm ;)

like being over 40

Hey I like being over 40, how do I turn this thing arround and get back to be just over 40?

Body wise can I choose 30? At 20 I was too thin.

Nope, I , like being 42. At 20, I was drinking too much, smoking too much & partying too much. I quit one of the best jobs I ever had.

teresa, you had a job where you drank too much, smoked too much, and partied too much. Where do you get work like that?

Outside of the Government, I mean.:p

Yeah but you wouldn't make the same decisions knowing what you know now.

Your life could turn out to be worse...

Dangerous, very, very, dangerous...

:D

The only part of 20 years ago I want

Is the recuperative powers of my youth. Nothing heals fast enough anymore. If that's the price for how much better the rest of my life is, it's well worth it, but I'd sure take that immune system and metabolic rate if given the chance...

I would never want to be that young again! I think I took life much more seriously back then than now, and at times felt the weight of the world on my shoulders. Most people didn't take me seriously back then either, and I just remember feeling mostly frustrated trying to learn who I really was.

My life became much more exciting in my 40s, and now it appears that my 50s will be the most fulfilling of all the decades!

My biggest hurdle is finding employment (it's been a year of looking for work!). Seems we "elders" are not very welcomed in the work force (and we aren't quite ready to retire either!) Guess that's the worst of being this age!

Good point Jenny, I was of course thinking of the purely physical. (Being a guy).If I ONLY knew then what I know now. I'm 48 and getting a new job at my age would be tough, at least at my pay scale now.

Happy New Year to all........Gotta go make the usual ass of myself. See ya next year. For all the people I've met...EVEN you Rick, I look forward to more time to get to know you.

I agree with Rick. I would only like to be 20 again if I could know everything I know now so not to make the same mistakes again. I made so pretty bad decisions in my 20's & 30's. I didn't start making smart decisions until I reached my 40's. My 40's were a very interesting and exciting time and my 50's seem to be going in the same direction. Just wish I had the energy and body I had at 20.
