I'm really happy with all of the support that people have been giving "Quiet Streets." Despite my misstep with my first story, everybody has been very helpful, and I hope to continue this one for a long time....

But....

I'm getting itchy fingers. I like the story, and the directions it's going in are fun, but there's only so much I can do with the setting. Not that I'm going to give up on it, but I think the daily updates will burn me out sooner or later, so I'm cutting back slightly.
SO.....
I'm thinking of writing another story, to add a little bit more to my range. Last time, I posted a variety of ideas, and the feedback I got led to my current effort. So, I'm gonna do it again...

Here's the ideas, tell me which you like.

1. A period piece, set in the restoration period. Think Three Musketeers, complete with wenches, ladies and swashbuckling.

2. A fantasy RPG parody, complete with selecting a character class and other stuff....

3. A rather evil story in which the main character is a mad scientist, with some rather evil experiments....

4. A brevdravis generic story.... Meaning, I drop the complicated plots, and just write a straightforward. If you want this one, tell me what genre. I'm ok with writing most stuff, just not beasty or ws/scat. I'm not a big fan of bdsm, so that one's out too.... I'm willing to write -het, gay, lesbian, threesomes, incest, orgy, risky, and non-consent. Others too, but since I didn't think of it you'd have to remind me....

All the attempts at #2 I've seen so far have failed miserably. It's a rather big challenge. :)

Apart from that, I really can't decide if I prefer 1 or 3... too hard to choose...

Hey, about a "D'Artagnan meet Frankenstein" kinda thing?! :nana:

None of the above...

Stuart,
I can't say any of the new story ideas really catch my attention. I enjoy Quiet Streets, and it's turning out to be a great story. I am not sure where I am going to take my storyline, but I know the characters have a long way to go. Both in distance and personality. I'd like to develope some tension between the main character and the crafty, black man. Marcus, who is responsible for burning down the building, which was home to Brittney and Erin and several others has more backstabbing to do. And our new rugged older male friend has his own story to tell.

I say, stick with what you're good at. When it comes to writing other things, find somebody else's story to add to. Chyoo'ing is a mood, and sometimes you have a mood for a certain type of story. Instead of creating a whole new one, try building an already existing story. I see some people with 15 or more stories... each consisting of 1 to 5 threads. I find that a waste...

But whatever makes you happy. The Chyoo'er shall support any new story you produce, unless it's Book of Magic Pt. 2. Just kidding on that one.
