Had to share this because I know we have a few major migraine sufferers on the board.

One of my closest friends was introduced to this product by a client who experienced daily, debilitating migraines and found no relief from any treatment for almost 30 years. She swore this product saved her. My friend purchased one for her daughter, (also a chronic migraine sufferer who has gone to every specialist and tried every diet under the sun with no luck).

The word back from my friend's daughter is that this device worked shockingly well, in a very short time (5 minutes, I believe). Now, I don't get migraines anymore, so I can't vouch for the product myself, but it may be an avenue worth exploring if you've tried everything else and nothing has worked.

It's basically a tens unit but specifically designed for migraines.

If anyone has tried it, I'd be curious to hear your feedback.

There's also a surgical version - they implant electrodes just under the scalp, and the rechargeable battery in the chest (similar to a pacemaker). The TENS unit can be controlled by remote; the battery pack us rechargeable for 7-10 years.

I have an acupuncture (actually more pressure) app on my phone by Miridia that works really well on all headaches -not just migraines. I feel like an ass pressing my phone to my temple while it buzzes but for those of us trolling this forum, perhaps concern over unusual activities is unwarranted? Dunno how expensive the tens unit is but the app is fairly cheap. I am sure some will be worried about using a cell phone on their brains but I offer it anyway... :)
