The tongue piercing looks kewl tealsphynx. i'm too chicken to get one myself, and would be too worried about it causing a chipped tooth (some that i know have had that happen).

Lol, He said he wouldn't mind if my nose were done as long as I kept the jewelry tasteful (no huge rings and such...wich is funny cause I like the little rings that circle the nostril...oh well) but I think I'll wait until my tongue heals completely before I think about any more piercings.
i had my nose pierced Dec 2004. After the piercing was done, a 14g surgical steel ring with a small capture ball was inserted. i heal quickly and wanted a bigger gage than normally used to insure that the piercing would not be difficult and close too quickly when changing jewelry later on down the road. Smart move in that 9 months later, while completely healed, the nostril piercing closes almost faster than i can insert the tiny diamond chip nostril screws that i prefer to wear. i have tried simply retainer posts (they have a tiny ball on the end to hold them in) and HATED them (bought 2 dozen tiny/cute pieces of this type jewely on Ebay ... tried one ... it got stuck ... i GAVE them all away ... was like "Screw that"). They go in just fine, but the inner side of the nostril piercings tend to close and heal around the post with rapid speed ... & once that occurs, the only way to get that post out is to forcefully yank it out. Ouch ...

If you ever decide to have it done, i'd suggest a capture ring to start with for at least the first 6-8 weeks during healing. Unless experienced with inserting, cleaning and maintaining a nostril screw ... they can be difficult to deal with early on (especially with a tender freshly pierced nostril).

Now fully healed, i am finally wearing what i wanted to begin with .... teeny tiny delicate looking diamond chip (have all colors ... even black, today i am wearing a light blue chip).

Thanks DVS!

Sinn- Thanks for the nose piercing hints. I like the idea of a little sparkly stud. I have a divet in my nostril (not really sure from where, I think it was a really bad zit at one time) that I think would be a nice spot for one... maybe after my tongue heals...
