Some thoughts for discussion . . .
Immigrants have traditionally been the source of labor for America's lowest paying jobs. Documented and undocumented Mexicans have, in particular, been the backbone of agriculture, meat packing, and housekeeping in the U.S.
The Trump administration has been overtly committed to removing as many of them from the country as possible.
The Trump Admin now wants to limit immigration to wealthy applicants, who, ultimately, will replace native-born owners of business.
Will the result be that native-born American workers will have to take the menial jobs under immigrant tycoons? Will the U.S. then be able to return to its past manufacturing and agricultural greatness by using Americans as a source of cheap labor for foreign investors?
