Hi Brats! Hope that you all had wonderful day. I did. We went to the fair and had a great time, got lots of fattening food, most of it we split. Fried snickers, fried oreos, turkey legs (brought them home and had them for dinner), corny dogs (of course, can't NOT have them!) He wanted fried cheese cake, but they couldn't make them, there was an accident and they could not fry anything, and they were the only stand that has them. We did not see the fried twinkies. Well hope you all have a nice evening.

Work had an interesting twist today...was removing insect survey traps from around the area and noticed there were three sites scattered around this one cemetery where I know the owner. He agreed to show me where they were...collected the first two sites and was following him in my state Jeep Cherokee to the third site when the Jeep went "CLUNK!" and just died while I was underway. I had to get towed to the state motor pool and got a loaner. Isn't this too perfect--a Jeep that they were going to retire (and put up for auction in a month) dying in a cemetary! I was laughing myself silly about it and the Motor Pool couldn't believe where it conked out either. Bad part of it was that it delayed me for 90 minutes...just long enough for me to catch our first pouring rain toward the end of my shift.Bitenips said:lol Ive never had fried icecream either

A quick story and then it is off to bed for me.......We didn't get snow for a few years here and my Mom was complaining so for Christmas I told her to close her eyes and I took that packing popcorn, a whole box full, and sprinkled it all over her in the Livingroom....what a mess!!!!!
I told her it was snowing for Christmas.....

Don't worry, the way I have been feeling lately and with my stomach being the way it is.... I am starving and then can only eat a few bites.
I mostly just tried the things and Daniel ate most of it. We had the turkey legs for supper and I still had some left, so I put it up to put in a pot of beans when I make them. Daniel got the fried snickers and I just got a couple bites of it. The fried oreos they dip them in pancake batter and then fry them. If you know what benets are....the fried donut like things you get in the French Quarters in New Orleans, it tastes like a benet with an oreo in the middle. They give you 4 of them and I had 1 1/2. Daniel even got part of my corny dog.

We NEVER get snow on Christmas and never even have a hope for it. I don't like getting alot of snow, we just get ice, but it would be nice to have a White Christmas just once. We have got it a little snow, lots of ice on New Year's Eve. I hate the ice. And especially when these people who don't know how to drive on ice come here and think that they can drive on it like you do snow and then spin out of control and cause wrecks and do damage to the cars, even if it is their own. That's why my car stays in the driveway at home!
