Hi guys,

Just a quick note to my friends I'm probably not going to be on for a while, not because I'm lacking the internet my usual excuse, just because I'm upset with the burocracy.

I got a pm from one of the moderators asking me to stop posting my e-mail adress in my posts despite the fact that it hurts no one and I've been doing it as long as I've been here. And that ticks me off as if the moderators really wanted to spend the time there are alot of important violations of the rules on lit every day. And I really don't think this qualifies.

True, but it seems as if (in order to appease the GB after the mini-eruption), they were taken from that 'pool of operators.' Granted, I may be way off base and have it all wrong--but that is the way it appears to this layman. I have nothing personal against them and it IS a thankless job, but I just follow the rules so they have no reason to confront me. Nuff said and I will shut up now...

lol I wouldnt say everyone that plays on the GB is a brainless moron...I will say that very rarely will I venture to the GB because the majority of posters Ive seen Ive just not been impressed with :shrug: I have better thangs to do then play the childish games I see there

The only reason it gets hot here is that wildfire that has I-84 closed and the town of Cascade Locks evacuated. So I am not lucky in that respect, either! (The hot winds are cumming from the SE...suspiciously close to the Dallas, TX area! ROFL)

Even though the wildfire is in the Columbia Gorge area...the east winds are blowing the smoke here...about 35-40 miles away. It did make for a gorgeous red sunset, though!
