Let's see,
Step 1 - Call firedepartment and warn them so they don't show up when I start burning eggs, soup or water.
Step 2 - Figure out what is in the kitchen that is edible. (hmmm this green stuff hasn't moved in 10 minutes)
Step 3 - Ensure that Cold-water finished cleaning the dishes, pots and pans. (Cold-water is the dog.)
Ok, what does everyone want to eat?

Actually the idea came from a joke.
A son goes to visit his dad who is living alone.
He has lunch and the son notices a film on his plate. "Dad are you sure these dishes are clean?"

Well he stays and ends up having dinner. This time he is certain the dishes are not clean. "Uhh, dad you really need to do something about your dishes they are not getting clean."

Well they chat for a little longer and the son decides to head home. As he is leaving his father's dog growls at him. "Dad, your dog won't let me out."
"Don't worry about him."
The Son tries to leave and again the dog growls and bears his teeth. "Uh, Dad could you come hold your dog, so I can get out, he looks really upset with me.
Dad yells at the dog, "Cold Water, get out of his way."
