I know this sounds a bit, well...different, but I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and wonder how much of a market there is in this area to help those folks with the voice pitch/mannerism changes needed pre or post-surgery?

Would you go to a board-certified Speech Pathologist? Realizing it is costly, and few insurance companies would cover it, would you be willing to pay out of pocket for these types of services?

Thanks for any suggestions or comments that might assist me in understanding how many of you use help with your gender changes?

Oh and BTW

I am not soliciting for clients here; I just wish to know from those of you on the inside how many of you sought these types of services, are they a recommended part of your process, etc?

thanks!
