I decided to start a little thread about us people who are up all night a lot of the time. Main question of it being.... why can't you sleep tonight?..... or in general? ..... whichever fits well for you.

And I'll go first!..
Tonight... I have a whole lot on my mind, and each time I lay down I find myself just thinking non-stop .. not allowing sleep to overtake me.
In general.. and on a more serious note. Aside from once in awhile, I don't ever sleep through a night completely. The times when I do are usually when I have someone dear to me that I'm curled up in bed with.. that's something that hasn't happened in quite awhile in itself.
My sleep pattern mostly started because of reoccuring nightmares. They go about as far back as I can remember.. around 10 years old is about what my mother (one of my best friends) tells me. For a time.. I feared going to sleep, so I'd stay up until I could no longer. Sometimes when the nightmares come back..... I go back to this.. fearing sleep.
The majority of the time... my schedule is to always wake up every 4 hours or so, toss and turn, or get up for a bit. Because my dreams woke me up nightly for years like this, its always been the habit my body knows since.

So there are some of my reasons..... how about yours?

Because kitte woke up again and is HYPER also I'm just too damn talkative.

- the other reasons..maybe tomorrow night..

Because I am stressed out to the Nth degree...I had a huge fight with my roomate and he isnt even aware of it, and I am probably asking them to move out tommorow. Even though I have no job and only 10 dollars in the bank. But he did something that so damaged our friendship it is beyond repair.

Nightmares...we wont even go there...lately though I have these totally happy dreams. And I wake up and cry because they are not real.

I am a 4 hour sleeper too...but usually I can go back to sleep.

That and I am all hung up in love.

I', used to being up most of teh night. Although, I have to be up in 7 hrs., so, I better be off....shortly.:D

I usualy can't sleep because I have too many thoughts running through my head. The last few nights it's been because it's worth staying up to talk to a special someone.....Even when we log off, the thoughts about him keep me awake.

I'm sorry to hear about your roommate hon.. that totally sucks. :( I live alone because I got frustrated w/ the getting a fugged up roommate every time.
From a fellow jobless person.. I wish you luck on the hunt. The economy *sucks* right now. I've known 5 different people who've gotten laid off in the last week.
As far as the happy dreams. *hugs* .... I hear ya,.. and it sucks. You're awesome though babe. Your happy dreams will come true someday soon, I'm sure of it.

I work nights. Not every night. But in fact, I'm at work right now.

It works well for some people.. but I can't imagine doing that. I think I'd have a really hard time trying to sleep while it was light outside... :)
