This is a question to any who wants to answer. How many of you like football(american or canadian style)? I'm not talking about rugby or soccer. I mean hardcore, hard hitting, play your heart out high school and college football. Don't get me wrong, I like to watch the NFL on sundays while Bar-B-Queing and drinking some ice cold beer. However nothing beats high school football, especially in Texas. We are the kings of High school football!!!

Well Maniac, being from Australia I don't get to see any college Football. We only get the NFL, which I might add I love.

I am a 49ers fan (sorry to offend anyone), we actually don't get too much of it but when it's on I do love it.

I have to say that I am still the biggest Aussie rules fan though, nothing could take that from my heart.

No offence taken, Hell im A Cleveland Browns Fan! GO BROWNS ! and besides as for college and high school..im afraid the Buckeyes are my team of choice

My late father used to have three television sets in the living room during football season; all of them set to a different channel, so he wouldn't miss a single game if he could help it.

He attended every high school football game he could, too.

Nothing got done in the house or yard, or on the car, until February.

I try to watch one football game a week in his honor, but, alas, I have only one television set.

Gotta say Gig'm Aggies,& Hook'm Horns. YeeHaa!

Hey do y'all know why Texas Stadium(home of the Cowboys) has a whole in the roof? So god can watch over his team. Kick some Ass Cowboys!!

There is nothing like football. The sound of college fight songs, the pop of shoulder pads, the sight of cheerleaders in micro mini skirts, sthe smell of autumn, a brisk fall day. When do NFL camps open?

How 'bout them 'Boys?

I'm with ya Maniac

Nothing but nothing beats non professional football. I go to every high school game I can. As a matter of fact I love the whole ambience of sitting on a bleacher on a cool Friday night surrounded by enthusiastic fans who scream until they're hoarse. I also watch professional football and will love the Bengals no matter how much they embarrass me.
I think I enjoy non professional football more because when a perfect play is attained there, it has more to do with desire than practice or even skill. I will always remember a catch a six year old boy in my brothers peewee team made on the 10 yard line in the final minutes of the game. It was a moment of perfection and after he ran in the end zone he sat down and cried along with half of the fans as well.
Enough of my philsophical ramblings....

If Dallas is God's team, then this world is in pretty sad shape.

Dallas Cowboy huddles = local drug rings.

College football for me, please

Particularly partial to my beloved Washington Huskies, but if whatever team has a decent marching band, I'll be glued to the tube! Go DAWGS!

Bring it on!

I didn't think football season would ever get here! Time to trade the Prozac for Sports Illustrated, oil up the recliner hinges and hoist the Niners flag on the pole. Should pray for rain this winter too, then people will offer me their game tickets (bunch of wussies).

Since this is a sex BB, anyone tried their hand at fantasy football? :D

Go Pats!!!!
Go Wolverines!!!
Go pick up your checks Texas HS players. Or have you guys clamped down enough to stop adults from playing.
Just kiddin' Maniac.
But seriously, I know it was a problem once. Is any crap like that still happening or have you returned HS fotball to it highest and purest form that can only be acheived in the Lone Star State?

Football? Did someone say

FOOTBALL!!! Hi Im BBB and Im a football addict. Personally, I love college more than NFL, because they seem to be playing to get somewhere. The pros already have what they wanted in life(big paychecks, fame...)but they really love the sport.
Now as for teams...being a Florida girl I stick by my Seminoles(FSU), while my hubby is a Gator fan(UF). But we both agree that the Jaguars are out there to tear things up, and do a damn good job of it. They had a rough start, but not bad for a young team. I will watch and cheer on other teams, IF they arent playing my faves, but hey who doesnt?

My favorite teams are the UCLA Bruins, the Rams, Broncos, and the Raiders.

And I guarantee the Rams will repeat as Super Bowl champs, kicking the shit out of Jackoffville 42-17. BOSSAAAAA!

We Ohioans do beg to differ on High School Football . . .

Having grown up in Ohio, I wouldn't say that football was religion - it was more important than that! The only anthem my dad would stand up for was when the Buckeye band came out to form Script Ohio.

Yes we are big football fans being from pittsburgh you have to be heck here in Latrobe is the training camp for the steelers. We are definetely big fans, beer drinking (rolling rock) of course and really love all the games
GO STEELERS!!!!!

I don't know about the NFL but being a big wrestling fan, I am looking forward to seeing the XFL in action. I am not sure when it will be out but I can't wait. :D

Watch out for the Bears this year. I can wait for football this year. For a change the White Sox are playing good baseball.

Hey Nicole-I didn't think Aussie ball had any rules?

My Favorite Teams

My two favorite teams are whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys, and Whoever is playing the Chicago Bears.

The past couple of seasons haven't been much fun for me though, because it's no fun rooting against a team that has no chance to win.

Jonas was that a stab at our sport?????

Don't be putting my Favorite sport down please. I love our game and the fact that it moves so fast. And yes there are rules. :)

Nicole, how could I make light of such a fast paced and exciting sport. I have watched the game, and become confused. Of course confusing me is not that difficult a task.

PS. Love Steve and Terri

Okay who the hell are Steve and Terri???

Are we talking Australian Rules or are we talking Rugby League or Union???

Bacause I'm talking Austarlian Rules. I hate Rugby.

You get confused easily eh??? Okay then if I make it there you can take me to a game, and if you come here I'll take you. Deal??? :)

Nicole-You have a deal. Come to Chicago (in the fall of course-here that is.) and I'll take you to a Bears game.
It's cold, windy, packed and a great time. If I make it there I'd love to see the football. Not rugby.

Steve is your countries gift to American cable television-
The Crocidile Hunter.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Him, okay.

So you want me in the fall then??? Ummm .... when is that??

You have to come our winter (sorry) but I would love to take you to a game. Just think we could wrap up together and get warm ;) I do get into the game though so can you handle a woman screaming at 44 guys on an oval???

I'm quite vocal myself at a sporting event. This has gotten me in a pinch on occasion. Our season runs September to Christmas, with the playoffs going on till end of January.

A cold day, a warm lady, a bit of beer and good sport. What else could a man want?
