"There we are."
Tanya was quick to flip the screen and strike a casual pose before Bernard stepped all the way into the room and caught her in the middle of her work. She wasn't able to take in everything that had been on the screen, but did walk away with a key point -- looks like Marcus is even more influential than she had suspected, and was the one calling the shots for tonight!
"Sorry to keep you waiting, my dear...are you ready?"
"For you? I'm always ready," she teased with a smile and hooked her arm through his once more.
"I used to go on much more dangerous missions then this, let me tell you....but nowadays they get all the young colts to handle those ones."
"Oh? I bet you're a regular double-0-7," Tanya giggled and squeezed his arm.
"This place isn't what you think it is, Tanya. We don't always do legitimate business."
"I guessed as much," she tells Bernard and slips into the passenger seat of his car. "But I know how to keep my mouth shut and eyes closed when I need to. As long as I get paid, I don't really care what you important types do behind the scene." A blatant lie, but a necessary one.
After Bernard was around and in the other side of the car she asks, "So where are we going tonight? I sort of thought the card game was going to be at the club."
