Foods you hate?

It's funny how tastes change, growing up I absolutely hated Dr. Pepper now I love it.

And growing up I only liked Pepsi, not Dr. Pepper is the best as Pepsi now had no taste and Coke is even worse. I actually prefer Ginger Ale over all other sodas. I has a taste the not only stimulates the taste buds, but soothes gastric distress too.

For me Ginger Ale is a close second with Mountain Dew.

I drank Mountain Dew for a couple of years in the 70s. One time, my wife brought me some in a glass; I'd always had it straight from the can. Whatever I had expected it should look like, it didn't. The color put me off so much that I never drank it again.

Can't take either Mountain Dew or Dr. Pepper. I find the first one cloyingly sweet and the second one bad tasting. Must be those who like them, though, because they're still in business and the Pepsi One that I could tolerate itsn't.

Dr Pepper is my favorite. I can't stand Coke or Pepsi.

Any lousy soda can be greatly improved by the addition of light rum.

Raw tomatoes, worst food on the planet if you have texture issues. There's skin, hard stuff, slimy jelly stuff, random pockets of seeds everywhere.

I refer to that jelly stuff as snot scraped from Satan's own nostrils. Much to the amusement of my friends. I despise tomatoes, for texture reasons. Glad I'm not alone.

Ha ha love it! So true!

Oysters. When I don't like something, I add hot sauce or lime juice to disguise the flavor. That doesn't work with oysters, I swallowed the whole thing and gagged so hard it came right out. Yuck. Yuuuck.

Raw coconut. I can stand the taste but the texture is what I imagine saw dust would feel like in your mouth.

Coca Cola used to taste awesome. Now taste worse than Pepsi. Why mess with a successful recipe? Profit margin?

Can't stand smell of root beer.

Canada Dry ginger ale for me.

I love these Play Ground threads. No wrong answers!

Then why not read it through again and substitute the names of foods with the descriptions of people they stand for? Now, "turnip", "pumpkin" and "cabbage" would be... :D

Anything that has ever been called an aquired taste. Why would I suffer it to aquire the taste?

Coffee
Peanut butter
Any hot dog not labeled "bright leaf" I'll take a Stevens in a pinch.
Oysters. Any other seafood I have tried is awesome. As long as its cooked through.
Most fast food
Avacodo in any form.
Raw onion or tomatoes

Mayo and miracle whip are interchangeable. There are relatively few animals I refuse to taste. (no balut, thanks)
