Confession time - I probably spend as much time looking at food blogs as I do looking at porn blogs.

So, I decided to start a thread that where I can post pics of some of the glorious dishes I see when gorging on food blogs. And I'd love it if others would join in!

I'll include links to recipes whenever possible.

Happy feasting, friends.

I'll give it a shot....

Snickerdoodle cookies

https://www.browneyedbaker.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/snickerdoodles-main.jpg

Ingredients

2-3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup shortening
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter – softened
1-1/2 cups sugar – PLUS 3 tablespoons sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.

2. Beat together the shortening and butter. Add the 1-1/2 cups sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy – about 5-minutes. Add eggs – one at a time – beating well after each egg is added. Add flour mixture and beat until smooth.

3. Mix the 3 tablespoons sugar with the cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll dough into 1-1/2 inch balls. Roll the balls in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Flatten the balls into ½ inch thick disks. Bake until light brown, but moist in the center – about 12-minutes. Cool on a rack.

^^^^ This is an absolutely delicious meal to order in a good restaurant. I've never had it prepared at anyone's home or tried to do so myself.
I haven't made it, either. I am always a little leery of making anything with clams or mussels simply due to my own inexperience.

Keep it simple...otherwise the flavor gets lost. See the sliced garlic? Good olive oil...not cheap shit. I am confident this can be made at home to rival the best
