I've never experienced rope bondage. I've always loved the look of it - especially the very intricate stuff, but have never had a partner who knew how to do it or was willing to try it. I understand why most of you have answered the cryptic/vague way you have, but I can/want to be completely honest. There are a lot of things that I want to have done to me that I have not told my gf/mistress (yeah, she is kinda wanting to be my mistress now) about, for many different reasons. The possibility of 'freaking out' one's PYL ... or revealing a want/desire/fantasy/longing which the pyl has already been given reason to believe that their PYL may not and/or WILL not wish to forfill, is probably one of the more common reasons felt by many who choose to keep those wants/desires/fantasys/longings to themselves, locked and hidden securely in their pyl heads to remain as 'private' from anyone ... even their PYLs.



Most have at least SOME hard limits. Some PYLs and their pyls may actually not even share ALL hard limits. If a pyl does not share a particular hard limit that their PYL has set for themself, many pyls will be reluctant to express certain desires which may conflict with the hard limit set by their PYL for various reasons, one being, not wishing to be misinterpretted as trying to 'top from the bottom' ... and/or 'push' the limits of the PYL.

A main reason why some may choose not to share some of their most 'dirty' little desires and fantasies: Fear of a loss of respect from their PYL/pyl should they feel that the desire/want/fantasy is one that disgusts their PYL/pyl, one that their PYL/pyl feel is wrong, or that grosses the PYL/pyl out.

Everyone handles rejection differently. Being told 'no' is rejection. When we share these little secrets we are at risk of being told, "NO. It's never going to happen.". Simply being able to dream that the fantasy MIGHT have a chance of actually coming true makes it all the more enjoyable. When we share a secret desire/want/fantasy if we are told it is NEVER going to happen it may stifle the enjoyment of that fantasy a bit.

Ahh, speak for yourselves please. Not entirely true for everyone as some of the replies to this thread, even more obviously, show. For different reasons, many of the replies here have made me smile too. Some are simply more open, and trusting than others... and for many different reasons.

my Master came home one night and as a surprise greeted me with a very nice spanking bench. It's very nicely handmade and purchased at a bargain price from a local 'toy store'. The top is padded and lined with black leather and the base and legs are nicely stained and polished, with brass rings and clasp type hooks at the base of each leg. Too scary for me as i hate even paper cuts. i have always been a bit phobic in regard to razors and the pain of such a 'clean' cut... they always hurt more than any others.
