Take the Turkish debacle. After 12 years of the US and UK protecting the no-fly zones so that the Northern Kurds can live in peace, what does Bush do?

No less than say to Turkey 'you can enter Kurdish territory in Northern Iraq if you let us use your country to invade Iraq from the North.'

The no fly zone is intended to protect the Kurds from Iraq not the Kurds from the Turks. If you are trying to suggest that the Turks will enter northern Iraq and kill Kurds, then the US will deal with that problem when it arises. Also, to the best of my knowledge the deal was to pay the Turks with cash not with the right to enter northern Iraq so the whole assumption underlying your argument may be false or misinformation.
